Here in beautiful South East Florida from January through the end of April there are

many car shows to visit or to participate in. There are Cruise-in activities as well,

often run at restaurants during week nights and on weekends in the morning. The

Chapter encourages people to get out their Pontiacs and participate if time allows

and the activity fits into one's schedule

- Tuesdays Weekly Tuesday Night Car Show at Lowes,  5 pm - 7:30 pm,  3620 SE Federal Hwy, Stuart, FL 34997. Please have exact change ($3) to expedite entry to the show. Free for spectators - repeats weekly - Lew 772-708-3790 (Lew has also set up a Facebook page called Lew's 
- Regarding the BMW Z3 that was advertised for sale last week, the correct price is $4,200.  Not $42,000 as originally reported to me.  Call Paul for more info/photos 315-604-2533.


Regarding the weekly Tuesday night Car Show at Lowes, many of you know that Lew Ponzini has been supplying pizza and cold water since the move back to Lowes. He has been doing so by purchasing these items at his personal expense.  The plan is to do this until he can get a food truck to attend the show on a regular basis. During recent shows, it has become apparent that many show goers are taking advantage of the pizza/water supplied by Lew without donating a few dollars to the cause.  The result is that in many occasions, Lew has not been able to recoup money he has laid out for these items.  There is a donation box on site so I'll ask that if you are going to partake in the refreshments, please make a donation to the cause.  Thanks to all that donate as little as a dollar. A little goes a long way.
